Dial in perfect chain tension straight from the engine plate with the RPC Side-Block Chain Tensioner—purpose-built for all 212cc small-block setups. This version bolts directly to the side of the block, giving you a solid mounting point and a clean, compact design that keeps your chain exactly where it needs to be.

 

Using the same precision clevis micro-adjust system as our clamp-on model, this tensioner lets you fine-tune tension with smooth, controlled movement. It comes standard with a heavy-duty roller wheel, and can be upgraded to a machined idler sprocket for high-torque or racing applications.
